ARTIST BIO

DUEL NATIVE aka Stephen Choi is a half-Trinidadian and half-Hong Kongese multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer. Whether labelled indie-folk-rock, brit-pop, or anything else, what unifies his catalogue to date are melody-driven songs that ring melancholy and hopeful all at once.

Stephen started his music career as a founding member of the London-based indie band, Greyhound Green, where he had the opportunity to support acts such as The Libertines, The Others, Alabama 3, and Tjinder Singh (Cornershop). He is also renown as an architect and leading authority in "the environmental ecology of music".
